Startup Success
Since 2020, we’ve supported 548 companies, helping create 1,080 jobs and contributing $64.4 million to Manitoba’s economy. Through ElevateIP, 131 startups have protected their intellectual property, filing 229 assets valued at more than $2.5 million .
Inclusive Innovation
Nearly half of the businesses we support are led by underrepresented groups. With 32% visible minority founders, 29% women, and 12% Indigenous, initiatives like WiLab™ and WeTech Loans are reducing barriers and strengthening diversity in entrepreneurship .
Global Reach & World-Class Facilities
This year, 10 international startups joined our community through the Start-up Visa Program, with founders from Australia, Pakistan, Singapore, and China choosing Manitoba to scale.

As a not-for-profit, 95% of our $4.8M annual budget goes directly to programming. With the support of 37 strategic partners and our growing community, we are fuelling innovation that drives jobs, investment, and opportunity across the Prairies .
