For over 25 years, FXR Racing has been a leader in the powersports apparel industry. What started in Morris, Manitoba, with 17-year-old Milt Reimer’s vision for high-performance snow gear has grown into an internationally recognized brand. Today, FXR designs, markets, and distributes trending apparel and protective gear for snowmobile, motocross, and outdoor adventure markets across Canada, the United States, and Europe.
Despite its global reach, FXR’s creative hub remains right here in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
Homegrown Design, Global Reach
Every FXR product begins at the company’s Winnipeg headquarters, where the design and product development teams bring innovation to life. Once designs are finalized, FXR partners with manufacturers across 10 countries, including long-time collaborators in Seoul, Korea, to bring their ideas to market. This global production model helps FXR deliver high-quality, technically advanced gear for demanding environments.

Supercharging Prototyping at North Forge
To meet the growing demand for rapid product testing and development, FXR joined the North Forge FabLab™ as a corporate member.
“With access to a facility like this, we can develop products quickly and efficiently,” said Eric Metrow, FXR’s Head of Product Development. “North Forge enables us to experiment with new concepts and fine-tune prototypes without having to invest in expensive equipment in-house.”
FXR’s team uses the FabLab’s industrial-grade tools, including 3D printers, CNC machines, and textiles equipment, to create and iterate on product samples. Whether testing new outerwear features or refining gear for extreme conditions, the FabLab offers a flexible, cost-effective solution to keep innovation moving.
Building the Future of Technical Gear
Metrow emphasized that FXR’s partnership with North Forge is about more than just equipment, it’s about community.
“We’re eager to collaborate with the knowledgeable people at North Forge and continue building gear that meets the needs of every consumer,” he said. “As we design for upcoming seasons, this partnership will help us stay ahead of industry trends and maintain our reputation for performance and durability.”
