We’re pleased to introduce Adam Palanuk, the new Director of the North Forge FabLab and one of the founding members of the FabLab.
With a background that spans aerospace, engineering, and entrepreneurship, Adam brings both technical depth and a future-focused mindset to the role. His leadership arrives at a pivotal time, as we continue to evolve the FabLab to meet the changing needs of Manitoba’s makers, entrepreneurs, and innovators.
Innovation at the Core
Adam holds an MBA from the University of Manitoba with a double major in Leadership and Innovation, along with a diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology. His professional journey includes tool design, advanced manufacturing, and global program management at Boeing. He’s spent years helping founders turn ideas into functional, cost-effective prototypes, balancing creativity with practicality at every step.
Outside of work, Adam enjoys aviation, motorsports, camping, working in his personal workshop and occasionally hopping on his tractor to indulge his inner farmer. He also runs a side business focused on solving old engineering challenges using modern manufacturing techniques.
What’s Next for the FabLab?
Adam is most excited about connecting with the local entrepreneurial community and ensuring the FabLab continues to grow alongside its members. His focus is on building a space that adapts, evolves, and empowers, from early-stage ideas to real-world impact.
We’re excited to see where his leadership, as the new North Forge FabLab Director, takes the FabLab, and what our community will create next.
