Born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba, David Koroma is a communications professional with a love for technology and innovation.

Starting in 2018, David became interested in blockchain technology and its impacts on global finance.

In 2021, with the explosion of NFTs and the Metaverse bringing real-world value into the digital world, he started getting involved with decentralized organizations (DAOs) and the creator economy being built on blockchain technology.

In 2022, this led him to the Financial Technology (fintech) industry, where he now works for Apaylo Finance Technology, helping Canadian businesses scale their digital payments. In this role, he works with many fintech and crypto start-ups in Canada and around the world to help them grow their businesses.

David hosts a blockchain-focused podcast, Web3 Warriors, interviewing builders and creators in the web3 space and providing education to those who want to learn about the new blockchain-based internet.

He is a co-founder of On-Chain Manitoba, a local non-profit initiative that helps communities connect with blockchain technology while promoting art, culture and technology in the crypto space. He is a passionate advocate for technological innovation and disruption that creates new opportunities for businesses and society as a whole.
