March Lunch & Learn
SR&ED DIY: Preparing the Technical Project Description
Join us for our Lunch & Learn on March 22, 2018! We will be gathering at the North Forge Fabrication Lab (125 Adelaide St.) from 11:30am-1:30pm!
Description: Tax season is upon us! If your company completed work in 2017 that is eligible for the Scientific Research and Experimental Development (SR&ED) program, it is time to start preparing your claim. For many start-ups, there is a desire to navigate the SR&ED application on your own. The objective of this lunch and learn will be to provide you with tips on the preparation of the Technical Project Description component of the SR&ED claim, including how to avoid common mistakes in the description of your project..
This session will only briefly cover SR&ED eligibility and is primarily targeted at those who have already identified eligible work, and would like some guidance on the preparing the technical description in house. The target audience would be the technical staff who has an intimate knowledge of the work performed and is tasked with the preparation of the description.
